Download the file

Once generated, download your custom Scalability.ini file. Keep it somewhere easy to find — your Downloads folder works fine.

Open your config directory

Navigate to your Marvel Rivals config folder. You can paste this path directly into File Explorer's address bar:

Replace the file

Drag your new Scalability.ini into the folder, replacing the existing one. If prompted, confirm the overwrite.

Yes. The Scalability.ini file is a standard Unreal Engine configuration file. You're only adjusting the same settings available in-game — just with more precision and control. No files are injected or modified beyond this config.

Will this get me banned?

No. While recent patches added warnings for extreme modifications (like completely disabling shadows or fog), our generator is hard-coded to strictly follow all detection rules. It automatically locks every setting within the known safe ranges so you won't get flagged.

How do I apply the generated config?

Download the file and place it in your Marvel Rivals config directory. Refer to the setup guide for step-by-step instructions.

Can I revert back to my old settings?

Absolutely. Back up your current Scalability.ini before replacing it. If you want to reset entirely, just delete the file and the game will regenerate a default one on next launch.
