RivalsFPS is a free, community-built website and a downloadable Windows app for Marvel Rivals. This policy covers both. We are not affiliated with Marvel, NetEase Games, or the Marvel Rivals development team.
The website has no accounts, no tracking cookies, and no advertising scripts. Our hosting provider measures aggregate traffic such as page views and referrers, which is not tied to you.
The app reads and writes local files to do its work: it
locates your Marvel Rivals installation, installs the
signature bypass, and manages mods, graphic packs, skins and
sound mods in the game's ~mods folder. Its own settings, staged files and caches live in a
folder it creates under AppData. On an NVIDIA card an armed quality preset also writes the
driver's own profile for Marvel Rivals while you play, and
puts it back when the game closes. None of that content is
uploaded.
The app reports anonymous usage metrics so we can see how many people use it and which features are worth keeping. It sends a device identifier that is hashed on your machine, the app version, and which of the app's own features and settings are in use. It never sends your name, your email, your game account, your file paths, your filenames, or the contents of anything on your PC.
When something fails, the app reports a fixed error code so we can find it. No message, path or filename rides along.
You can turn metrics off at any time in the app's Settings tab, under Analytics. Your device still checks in so it counts as present rather than as an uninstall, and error codes still report, but nothing describes how you use the app after that.
Besides metrics, the app talks to a small number of services to do its job: to update itself, to fetch the graphic pack catalog and the skin preview tool, and to show the game's news and player count. Those requests carry no usage data, but like any web request they expose your IP address to the service receiving it.
On by default, and switchable off in the app's Settings tab. It uses no network of its own: it talks to the Discord app already running on your PC, and Discord publishes one of two fixed lines on your profile, "Playing Marvel Rivals" or "In app", with a start time and links back to us. It never includes a mod, pak or setting of yours.
Any material change to what we collect, how it is stored, or how it is shared will be reflected here, and the "last updated" date above will change with it.
